Chrysler 300C Ruyi design concept

The Chrysler brand left the Chinese car market in 2009 after its parent company, Chrysler Group, split off from Germany's Daimler. (Chrysler's sister-brand, Jeep, continued to be sold there.) Chrysler is marking the brand's return to China this summer with this special edition concept designed to cater to Chinese tastes.

It rides on 22-inch alloy wheels. There's also a nearly invisible stripe running along the side of the car. Representations of the ruyi, a curved scepter that symbolized authority and prosperity in ancient China, appear throughout the car including in the wheel design, the grill and on the headrests inside.
