Most people wouldn't consider Victoria's Secret lingerie "protective clothing," but one taxpayer thought he just might slip it past the IRS.
The owner of a tree-cutting business tried to deduct a few hundred dollars worth of ladies underwear from Victoria's Secret, along with the rest of the protective clothing he needed for his job, as a business expense.
Kristin Roberts, tax supervisor at Bailey Murphy & Scarano said the five receipts from the lingerie store immediately caught her eye, and the deduction was removed from his return before making it to the IRS.
