The listing agent for this home,
Fatima Treuer, is also the daughter of the owner. Her dad bought the place about 15 years ago when it was a single-family home, but decided the land was a perfect spot for a castle instead.
"He started building and it got bigger and bigger," she said. "Now there are five different structures on the property."
Among them: A main building with six bedrooms and a dining room that can seat 110, a gatekeeper's cottage with two master suites and seven story-high towers.
Lots of native wood, including red cedar and black walnut was used in the building of the home, giving many of the spaces a warm look. There are several fireplaces, rustic loggias and cathedral ceilings.
The Castle Estate has commanding views of the White River and surrounding countryside from its hilltop site. New owners could use it as a corporate retreat, banquet and wedding destination, bed and breakfast or an elaborate family home, said Treuer.
