Miami home prices are starting to rebound after years of severe decline.
The median price for homes sold in the city hit $145,000 in early 2012, roughly half their 2008 peak, according to the National Association of Home Builders.
Those willing to pay a little extra can find homes like this Spanish Colonial. This two-bedroom home has a tiled roof, arched windows and a swimming pool. It's down the block from a school and close to the beaches in the town of Surfside, just north of Miami Beach.
The interior features wood-beam and planked cathedral ceilings. There are ceiling fans, a separate dining room, a tile-floor kitchen with hardwood cabinets and a wood-burning fireplace.
