MGBs are pretty cheap but just as much fun as many pricier cars. They're not always easy to keep on the road but, on the positive side, there are lots of them out there making parts relatively easy to find. Earlier models are considered to the most desirable but later models from the 1970s, with design changes to meet new American safety standards, can be had for less. With any MGB, the thing you need to look out for, though, is rust, said Roger Falcione, chief executive of ClassicCars.com.
