This new Mercedes-Benz sports car is designed to show off the capability of the automaker's legendary AMG performance division. The 503-horsepower GT-S is often touted as an alternative to the 911, which I suppose it is, but the GT-S has a very different feel. For one thing, it carries its engine in front of, rather than behind, the occupants which imparts a different sense of balance.
