paris air show

The Ukrainian-desgined Antonov An-124 'Ruslan' first flew in 1982, and has proved itself to be such a successful civilian cargo hauler that it's still in use today.

Its first appearance at the Paris Air Show was in 1985. The double decker four-engine jet has carried spacecraft, helicopters, subway cars, giant airliner engines and many other oversized loads.
