23. IKEA
23 of 25
Ikea is a popular brand in dorm rooms worldwide. After four years of living, studying and lounging on Ikea furniture, it's no surprise many college students hope to land a job with the Swedish-based company after graduation.
New hires can take advantage of generous in-store discounts and tuition assistance. They even enjoy reduced costs for meals at stores' restaurants and Swedish food shops -- perfect for new grads tired of all-ramen diets.
Environmentally conscious students can feel good that Ikea has pledged 1 billion euros -- the equivalent of over $1.1 billion -- to support renewable energy initiatives and help people affected by climate change.
According to the company website, Ikea looks for new hires that are big thinkers with small town values like humility, simplicity and responsibility. --A.L.
