When you get a job at EY, the connection is for life. The Big Four accounting firm boasts a network of 200,000 alumni around the world who will share their wisdom, experience and -- most importantly -- their contacts throughout your career, wherever it may be.

CEO Mark Weinberger is a prime example. He started out in the firm's tax department, and moved back and forth between the public sector and EY a couple of times in his career. As Weinberger likes to put it: "No matter where I went, EY kept drawing me back."

The company isn't just looking for graduates with great academic records. According to Nancy Altobello, global vice chair of talent, EY has started taking a close look at recruiting athletes because of their enthusiasm, openness to feedback and constant striving to improve. The company even hired nine women as interns who competed in the 2016 Rio Olympics. --T.Z.
