After nearly a century in business, RadioShack filed for bankruptcy this year.
It's not clear precisely how many people lost their job due to the company's collapse. RadioShack employed nearly 21,000 workers at the time of its bankruptcy, but some of those employees kept their jobs because of a partnership with Sprint to operate 1,750 stores together.
RadioShack's bankruptcy filing revealed the company slashed 6,500 jobs in the previous year due to its struggles.
