"I voted for Bernie. Now I'm voting for Clinton because I don't see anybody on the Republican side who's in tune with what is really happening," Frankie McDonald told CNNMoney.
McDonald, 61, is a court reporter who is about a year away from retirement. She's seen massive change in her neighborhood. Developers have come in and rents have gone up, forcing many families and long-time residents to move out because they can't afford the rent any more. Someone was evicted on her block just last week.
Florida has many jobs, but they aren't well paid.
"The one thing Bernie talked about that [Clinton] talks about is building the infrastructure. This was straight out of FDR's plan to get us out of the Great Depression," she said. "You're not going to find another way to do it, except to invest right back here building the stuff we have here in America right now."
