Exotic dancers earn more in tips than any other workers, according to PayScale which analyzes data from more than 10 million U.S. workers.
In some cases, however, these performers collect far more in tips than they keep. According to several recent lawsuits, many dancers have been forced to kick back part of their tips to their bosses. Others have been required to work as independent contractors so their employers don't have to pay them minimum wage or benefits.
