Abercrombie & Fitch is under fire for discriminating against plus-size shoppers.
Benjamin O'Keefe, from Orlando, Fla., started one of many petitions that urges Abercrombie & Fitch to offer XL and XXL sizes after suffering through weight issues and feeling "worthless to not be able to wear the 'it' styling that everyone else was wearing." His petition has received more than 70,000 signatures.
"[W]hether you can fit into Abercrombie or not, you are beautiful," O'Keefe's petition states. "It's time Abercrombie & Fitch to embrace that beauty!"
Abercrombie & Fitch said it is "continually evaluating opportunities" for new products.
"We recently conducted a global research study on what our consumers think, and the data may lead us to make further changes throughout the business," a company spokesperson said.
