The Ahujas are donating the several thousand dollars they will receive from their tax refund to several charities chosen by their 11-year-old daughter, Tarina.
After meeting a child who was fighting muscular dystrophy, Tarina began researching ways to contribute to the cause, Ahuja said.

She now hopes to split the refund money her family is expecting between charities that support muscular dystrophy and autism research.
"It's pretty refreshing to see for us that she wants to take an active part in making this a better place," said Rick Ahuja.
