In addition to solid health and wellness benefits, Deloitte this year introduced another perk that might be especially appealing to MBAs: a student-loan refinancing program that allows them to combine federal and private loans. "Focusing on financial health is something that's really important," says Patty Pogemiller, head of Deloitte's U.S. recruiting.
Service is a core value at the consulting firm, where workers clocked more than 315,000 hours of skills-based volunteering last year. Each year, the company hosts "Impact Day," where all employees participate in community service projects.
What they're looking for: The company has made it a priority to attract a diverse workforce. Two-thirds of its new hires in 2014 were women or minorities. Deloitte expects to hire some 700 MBAs as full-time employees and interns this year. "Our people are our greatest asset," Pogemiller says. "We don't make things, we sell our knowledge."
