Located on hundreds of acres in some of the most scenic parts of the U.S., these ranches are selling for millions of dollars.
This part of Arizona, about 45 minutes south of Tucson, receives about 17 inches of rainfall a year, twice as much as Phoenix. That makes it good rangeland for cattle.
But for now, the Bracamonte Ranch is currently home to just a few cows and a derelict pistachio orchard that a nut-loving owner could revive, according to agent Sam Hubbell.
All of that can be expanded, however.
The properties facilities include two barns, working corrals and five wells. In addition, the ranch comes with two homes: a 3,000 square-foot red stucco main house with three beds and baths, and a one-room apartment with an attached loft.
