Horsham may not have much of a walkable downtown, but with five high-end office parks that house more than 600 businesses (including several Fortune 500 firms), the town is more than just a bedroom community.

Residents here also benefit from low property taxes and a school district that's garnered government recognition for high performance. Locals say the 25,000-square-foot library, equipped with a café and free Wi-Fi, is another town highlight. --K.F.
