 Home to Boston College as well as two smaller colleges, Newton has lots of youthful energy and an endless list of things to do – such as its Dancin in the Parks Wednesday night live music event and its heritage festivals that feature live music from Africa to salsa to R&B and soul.
Instead of one main downtown, Newton has six to seven downtown areas, making shopping and eating out easy for everyone. The New England village feel is evident in its historic-looking buildings, and its location is prime – right near Boston but not far from Cape Cod or the mountains of New Hampshire.
