Bryant is a new town with a traditional all-American community. Commercial retail has boomed in the last few years, but it's the town's athletic teams that bring the residents together. High school football games often sell out, for example.
The town has joined together with nearby towns in Saline County to attract businesses. Their efforts look to be paying off: the unemployment rate is below the national average. Watch out for a harsh tornado season, however: a rough storm ripped through the area last year. --R.G. Is Bryant a great town, or what?
