This Rockland County hamlet north of New York City (many residents commute there for work) is conveniently located near many highways, making it easy for those who live here to take advantage of the myriad shopping and recreation opportunities in the area. (The Hudson River is a few minutes away.) Houses here tend to be less expensive than those in neighboring towns. And the school district is respected. --N.D.
