We asked chefs Danielle Sucher and Dave Turner, co-owners of Jack Restaurant in New York City, to cook and photograph Roger's dishes and contribute two of their own.

Held in the "mushroom capital of the world," the Kennett Square Mushroom Festival features guided tours of local mushroom farms, a mushroom bobbing contest and a mushroom soup cook-off.

National Morel Mushroom Festival

This all-about-the-morel festival is celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2010 and is usually held in mid-May, the best time to hunt the woods of Boyne City for the prized morel mushrooms.
