Former U.S. CEO of Walmart Bill Simon was uninjured after his plane went down Tuesday in Fayetteville, Arkansas, according to local news reports.

Police say the plane experienced a sudden drop in oil pressure. Three men were on board, including a co-pilot and a passenger.

CNN affiliate KARK, along with other media outlets, reported that the pilot was Simon, 56, who worked at Arkansas-based Walmart (WMT) for eight years. Simon served as president and CEO of Walmart U.S. until his departure in 2014.

The men were on their way to Waco, Texas, from Fayetteville. They were forced to make an emergency landing and deploy the plane's large parachute.

Simon was flying a Cirrus SR22T plane, which has a system that allows the entire plane to parachute out of the sky in emergency situations.

The plane landed on a highway and collided with a truck being driven by a 30-year-old woman. The three men in the plane and the woman suffered minor injuries and were taken to the hospital.

Correction: An earlier version of this article incorrectly reported Simon's title in two instances.
