Passengers on American Airlines will now be able to binge their favorite TV show or catch the latest movie .... for free.

Travelers on Wifi-enabled planes can chose to watch the free entertainment, including premium channels, on their seatback screens or stream it on their own personal device through the airline's app.

Wifi to connect to the library of content is free, but passengers will still need to pay for internet usage on your personal devices.

The free entertainment will be offered on all domestic flights. In the past, American (AAL) only offered a portion of its entertainment options for free on domestic flights.

The move went into effect at the start of August, and the airline said the entertainment offerings will vary by type of aircraft.

"It's all part of our customer investment and experience of making that experience better and remaining competitive in the market," said an American Airlines spokesperson.

Delta announced it was making its in-flight entertainment complimentary to all passengers in June.
