Lawrence Huey: Giving it away

Our church is doing a campaign focused on helping our affluent congregation (which most of America is) give away their tax stimulus to families that are in dire need.
I know Bush would like for us to stimulate the economy by buying 42" plasma TVs, but we're choosing to respond to situations right in front of us.
In the bigger scheme of things, we can all afford to live more simply here in the U.S. We need to be involved in redistribution.
