Vladimir Putin's Russia has barred a lot of things in recent years. Some of the restrictions alarm human rights watchers, while others are more amusing to outside observers.

McCain doesn't seem too troubled about not being able to visit Russia. "While I suppose this means I'll spend this Easter in Sedona rather than Siberia, I couldn't be more proud of being sanctioned by Vladimir Putin," he said.
