Being middle class means having to work 40 or more hours per week just to make ends meet. Being middle class means being a slave to your debt. Being middle class means you can't afford luxuries such as a two-week vacation or eating at a non-fast food restaurant. Being middle class means having less than a month's wages saved for emergencies. Being middle class means trusting the government will provide for you in your old age.

I feel blessed to be able to say I'm middle class. I'm blessed with a great job. I'm really glad I can pay my bills, even if it means I have to work 60 hours a week. If I lost my job, I couldn't last a month.
