TSA fire sale: Knives, power tools, baseball bats

It's truly amazing what some people will try to carry on to a plane. Most of the knives, power tools, scissors, etc. are resold by the TSA at state-run stores like the one in Harrisburg, Pa.

This decorative, saber-style knife with a silvery hilt shaped like a dragon looks like it belongs on the set of "Game of Thrones" or "The Hobbit." It certainly doesn't belong on a plane.

The knife was surrendered to the TSA, but the government won't resell it because it's considered a weapon in the eyes of the state. Instead, it will be discarded. Sorry, Bilbo Baggins.
