If someone calls to say your loved one serving in the military will be coming home early, beware.

Stooping unbelievably low, scammers are calling families of service members and asking for payments to process early-leave requests.

The Ohio Attorney General's Office warned about the scam last month. It receives hundreds of complaints every year from military members who have been targeted by scams -- including this one.

Another common complaint is identity theft. In these cases, service members return home to thousands of dollars in debt that someone else racked up in their name and a train-wreck of a credit report.
