A number of hotels in Puerto Rico are offering Tax Day specials. The W Retreat & Spa on Vieques Island will be giving free 10-minute, 40-second spa treatments by the pool on April 15, and guests will receive a complimentary green cocktail "as a toast to green returns."

The St. Regis Bahia Beach Resort, also in Puerto Rico, is giving out rum punch, and a butler will pick up your tax return and hand deliver it to the post office through April 15 -- all free of charge.

If you want to stay closer to home, the Kimpton's Hotel Monaco Chicago is offering an "Imbibe, Relax and Save (IRS)" special, where guests receive a $25 drink credit at a local restaurant, a $50 in-room spa credit, and don't have to pay occupancy and lodging taxes.

Or sign up for the "Tax Relax: More Money, No Problems" package at the JW Marriott Indianapolis, which starts at $209 and includes a one-night stay, free overnight parking, late checkout, a $10.40 credit to a nearby restaurant or sports bar and even a pot of gold chocolates.

In South Carolina, you can take $10.40 off the nightly rate at the Oceanfront Litchfield Inn and the Springmaid Beach Resort. The Surfside Beach Resort, also in South Carolina, is offering a two-night package for $99 -- in honor of the "hardworking Americans" who aren't in the elite 1% of income-earners.
