Now an Amazon.com subsidiary, the online retailer has vowed to maintain its zany culture. CEO Tony Hsieh and COO Alfred Lin held an all-hands meeting after the deal was announced, telling employees they would each receive a Kindle and a retention bonus equal to 40% of their annual salary, with 20% paid this past December and 20% next December.
