Business Person of the Year 2011 #BizPOY
The contest

On Nov. 17, Fortune magazine will name its Businessperson of the Year, an honor that goes to the leader who made the biggest mark in business in 2011. We talk to analysts and consultants, executives and former executives, those moving markets and those playing them. Then we compile and pore over the numbers to help narrow down the field. But the one thing we're missing is what the readers think. So we want you in on the decision.

How to play

We start with 32 contenders, seeded and matched-up by the editors of Fortune. Go through each contest and pick which leader you think made a bigger impact in 2011. Five rounds of voting will take place from November 15-17. At the end of each round, we'll close voting, determine the winners, and launch a new round until the winner is revealed on Thursday, November 17th.

How to share

Once you've cast your vote, tweet your picks. Use the hashtag #BizPOY and your tweet will show up on this page. Check back regularly to see who is winning and get your friends and co-workers to vote. We'll also be tweeting results from @fortunemagazine and will be doing regular updates on our Facebook page.
