Why it's admired
Starbucks sales have been setting records. The coffee retailer continues to offer new items on its menus as well as improved store experiences, such as the recently launched Starbucks Digital Network, which gives Wi-Fi users free online daily content.

The coffee giant recently ended a deal that allowed Starbucks-branded Tassimo T-Discs to be produced and sold through Kraft's single-serve brewing platform -- expect new, profitable single-serve brewing products from Starbucks across a wider portfolio of companies. --By Tara Moore
