Want to help get people on the right nutritional track? As a dietitian, you'll evaluate each client's nutritional needs, diet restrictions and current health plans to develop dietary-care plans. You'll counsel individuals and groups on basic rules of good nutrition, healthy eating habits and nutritional monitoring and consult with physicians and health care staff to determine nutritional needs and diet restrictions of patients. Dietitians also sometimes monitor food service operations to ensure conformance to nutritional, safety, sanitation and quality standards.
