NEW YORK (CNN/Money) - If you're fishing for an unusual holiday gift, cast your line for a faux-pearl encrusted mermaid suit or a luxury ice fishing house in Minnesota.
Neiman Marcus, the purveyor of luxury goods, just unveiled its 77th annual Christmas book, full of the ultimate gifts for those with very deep pockets.

"Every year we choose to add the wow factor to the book because we want adults to feel like they can be kids again," said Ginger Reeder, vice president of Neiman Marcus Direct.
"We received between 600 and 800 suggestions for this year's book and we narrowed it down to those exclusive items that had a magical quality, like the mermaid suit. That's what becomes a good fantasy gift," Reeder said.
The $10,000 mermaid suit will be custom designed to fit over the recipient's hips and legs and, as an added bonus, includes training in how to swim while wearing it.
The luxury ice fishing house, which can be customized with such amenities as luxurious linens and flat-screen entertainment systems, carries a starting pricetag of $27,000.

Reeder said the house is hand built and heated, and offers 240 square feet of fishing and lounging space.
"This is a little funny, especially the juxtaposition between a little shanty house and fine linen. But that's what makes it unique," Reeder said.
Other fantasy gifts include "His & Her" adult-size, interactive, remote-controlled and multifunctional robots for $400,000 a pair, and a "Mariposa" show garden for $50,000. The artist, Stan Herd, will travel to the desired location and create a specially designed half-acre custom work in the garden.
The most anticipated gift is the $75,170 Neiman Marcus limited edition 2004 BMW 645Ci Coupe. "We're very happy to unveil the car," Reeder said, adding that only 50 of the limited-edition U.S. models will be produced.

Do these pricey gifts sell? Last year's most expensive gift -- a collection of 10 Andy Warhol paintings costing $13 million -- is yet to find a buyer.
This year's most expensive item is a $12 million Bombardier Learjet, Reeder said. "I can't say for sure that it will sell, but my bet for the most saleable item is the crystal chandelier," she added.
The handcrafted chandelier, inspired by Japanese cherry trees, has a pricetag of $24,885 hanging on it.
