Six new cars to watch for
These are the cars shoppers will be looking at in the year to come.
NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) - Every year, among all the new cars that are introduced at the Detroit Auto Show, there are a few that actually have the potential to change what people will be driving in coming years. Along with James Bell, publisher of the automotive Website site Intellichoice.com and David Champion, director of auto testing for Consumer Reports magazine, we've selected six cars that we think bear watching out for in the year ahead.
We don't know if they'll be great cars, or just greatly disappointing, but they're all important. And none are going to be particularly expensive. Most, in fact, will actually be relatively cheap. That's part of what makes them so interesting. Pricey luxury cars are nice, but relatively few Americans actually buy them. Cars like these are the ones you'll be seeing lots of in the very near future. Gallery: Six cars to watch in 2006 |
