Cadillac Provoq concept
Cadillac has returned as GM's glory division. It sells products that can compete effectively against the German elite. But it still relies too much on the gigantic Cadillac Escalade SUV. The Cadillac SRX, a smaller car-based SUV, while good, is simply outshined by competitors' newer offerings.

If gas prices stabilize, crossovers will likely regain much of their popularity. Cadillac can't afford to let the SRX ride on too long.

The Cadillac Provoq concept, unveiled at the Consumer Electronics Show earlier this year, could offer hints of what a new, improved Cadillac crossover would look like.
