The current-generation Focus has been a solid seller for Ford and an important entry-level product. But its biggest selling point is still the Sync interactive entertainment system, not the vehicle itself. It's a reliable little car but it's not particularly fun, and its design is not loved by all.
In 2010, Ford will begin manufacturing and selling the European version of the Focus in the United States. That's something that car fans have been asking for for a long time.
The European Focus is nicer-looking and more fun than ours. Products like this might allow Ford to build on its newly earned reputation for solid reliability with products that actually have some curb appeal.
