As much as owners of the Chevrolet Camaro Z28 might love their car, they'd probably jump at the chance to get their hands on the government's $4,500. "Cash for clunkers" would be a good option for them, but the Z28 doesn't qualify. Believe it or not, this muscle car's fuel economy is too good. It gets a combined city and highway fuel economy of 19 mpg, 1 mpg too high.
That's a major bummer for Z28 owners, since the car is worth considerably less than what it could have gotten from Uncle Sam.
