Yet another Focus derivative, the high-roofed C-max is expected to come to the U.S. from Europe in 2011. Ford will be watching carefully to see if it overcomes American's resistance to hatchbacks. Other cars in this segment, like the Toyota Matrix, have not been huge sellers.
