Big Ass Fans employs some cool people.
Working for a company called Big Ass Fans, "you can't take yourself too seriously," said Director of Business Development, Paul Lauritzen. "The culture is a little bit off the wall," he said, but the jobs are legit. Regional sales reps design the layouts for energy efficient ceiling and wall fans in industrial buildings, commercial spaces and sports and aviation facilities. Salaries start at $60,000-$100,000 plus commission, and other perks include an annual bourbon tasting and weekly cook outs.
Aside from a sense of humor, job applicants should also posses some technical aptitude and general sales experience, Lauritzen said, "but we do a lot of on-the-job training."
