Laura Wright: We had a holiday part for 30 of our friends and family. I cooked a gumbo with shrimp, crab and chicken and two big trays of wild game jambalaya with venison and axis deer. We also had a Texas onion pie and plenty of wine. We had a stressful year money-wise, but we've had so many new friends come into our lives who have been supportive, and we wanted to celebrate with them.
