Average weekly savings: $45-$50
"I am a part time RN with 3 small children and I just started couponing this year. With the economic downturn and our third child, my monthly grocery bill had grown to over $700 a month (family of five with one dog). Her strategy: "I get my Sunday paper and my grandmother saves coupons for me so I can double them. I have also started a price book that allows me to keep track of prices on frequently purchased items.
