Developed by Toyota's in-house Customs and Accessories group, this Prius concept shows what could theoretically be done to add performance to even the fuel-economy oriented Prius hybrid. Most people probably wouldn't really want to go the expense of swathing a Prius in loads of expensive carbon fiber, though.
On this car, every body part but the doors is made from the stuff. Other features include cameras in place of rear view mirrors and a translucent rear wing. It's also much lower -- four inches lower in the front, six in the rear -- than a standard Prius.
Toyota also unveiled the Prius PLUS at the SEMA show, the first model from Toyota's new PLUS hybrid performance line. The upgrades are mostly cosmetic, except for suspension changes.
