First Job: Receptionist

I finished college in 1991 and knew I wanted to be in advertising. The job market was depressed and there weren't many opportunities available. I found a job as a receptionist at a local ad agency, Denmark, The Agency. And as the saying goes, it was my foot in the door. After about 6 months I was promoted into the account team.

The agency is still in business today. The owner, Priscilla Jessup, is an amazing businesswoman and remains a friend and mentor of mine almost 20 years later.
