Last year, Unisys was the fifth-best performing stock after it moved back into the black following four long years in the red. But shares of the information and technology provider took a bit of a beating this year as earnings reversed course once again.

In April, Unisys surprised the Street when it posted an $11.6 million loss for the first quarter. The company said its results were hurt by $35 million of pre-tax foreign-exchange losses.

Though Unisys returned to profitability in the following quarter, its third-quarter profit plunged more than 50% and revenue dropped 13% due to fewer sales of its ClearPath servers. Both earnings and sales figures missed forecasts.
