'Consumer-friendly' credit cards?
New offers target folks who are fed up with issuers' shenanigans. Here's how cards from three of the biggest banks stack up.
A new set of features on many existing Chase cards, Blueprint lets you earmark up to 13 categories of purchases as interest-free as long as you pay off those categories each month. For example, if you decide to charge a new flat-screen TV and can't pay it off for a while, you can at least spare yourself interest on, say, groceries.
Verdict: It may be helpful if you carry a balance.
