People who can build strong relationships, both with customers and coworkers. They also look for people with a strong entrepreneurial spirit -- those who'll approach their jobs as if their name were on the building.
How to impress their recruiters
Prior retail experience is not required. Nordstrom does teach specific skills, but doesn't provide formal customer service training. That means recruiters will want to see if you're the type of person who isn't afraid to jump in, work hard, and is truly passionate about serving the customer.
