Joe Wilson, Xerox's founder and president, photographed at Xerox's Orchard Street warehouse in Rochester, N.Y. , in 1960. The facility is where the 914 was first assembled. Wilson said in a 1959 news release announcing the 914: "During the several months we've had a 914 in our office under observation the Copier has led to some real improvements in our operation."
