In all of Hyundai's most recent models, interior quality is a strong point. Yes, there's lots of plastic, as in most cars, but it's good plastic nicely assembled in attractive ways.
With the Equus, though, Hyundai is putting itself up against some tough competition and interior quality is the one place this Hyundai doesn't make the grade. The plastic switches and trim pieces in this car seem a little chintzy, making you feel like you're driving a cheap knock-off of a luxury car rather than the real thing. It's a shame in a car that's otherwise so nice.
