The Equus is not as big as the Mulsanne but it's pretty big, all the same. Backseat occupants have 39 inches of legroom. The Equus Ultimate has one especially nifty feature that's not even an option on the Mulsanne: the right back seat not only reclines but has a lounge-style footrest, as well.
For small children or the extremely short-statured, it's just great. Unfortunately, for just about everyone else, there's not really enough room to use this feature without first removing one's feet even with the front seat moved all the way forward.
Otherwise, the Equus' back seats are exceedingly comfortable and they're heated and cooled. They'll also massage you as a rear seat entertainment system with a single swiveling screen -- standard in this version -- entertains. That screen also provides those in the back with full control of all entertainment and climate control functions. Back seat passengers in the Mulsanne also wield this type of power.
